Ingredients
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup packaged chopped walnuts
1/2 package chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 9x9 cake pan.
Melt margarine in saucepan.
Remove from heat and add sugar.
Stir in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Spread in prepared pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Do not over bake. Cool in pan
