Ingredients

6 eggs
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon almond extract
1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease 3 9x5x3-inch pans heavily and coat with sugar.

  3. Beat eggs and sugar for about 2 minutes.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and beat for 2 minutes.

  5. Spoon batter evenly into the prepared pans.

  6. Bake for 1 hour.

  7. Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pans.
