Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup brown sugar (for topping)
2 teaspoons cinnamon (for topping)
1 cup chopped nuts (I prefer walnuts)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time beating for one minute.
Sift dry ingredients, add alternately with sour cream and vanilla.
Mix together until crumbly: brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts, this will be the topping.
Pour half of batter into pan. Spread with half of topping, cut small pieces of butter and place on top.
Add remaining mixture and top with rest of topping.
Bake 45 minutes.
