Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups sifted Gold Medal flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
additional confectioner's sugar for dusting
Directions
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Sift together flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture, stir in nuts.
Chill dough.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. (Cookies do not spread)
Bake 10-12 minutes or until set but not brown.
While still warm roll in confectioners sugar.
Cool.
Roll in confectioners sugar again.
