Ingredients

1 can condensed milk
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups pecans

Directions

  1. In a heavy saucepan mix condensed milk and sugar before turning on heat.

  2. Cook on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until soft ball stage. (When candy forms a ball in cold water). Add vanilla and butter. Stir until combined. Add pecans.

  3. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper or butter countertop and spread out and cut into squares when semi-cooled.
