This is a great recipe and it is important to know that it must be paired with a complimentary wine or other beverage. Fruit is the appropriate food to serve with this dip. Not everyone appreciates blue cheese. Using Cambozola or Blue Brie which are milder would be better choices for a large crowd of varied tastes. Maytag is a wonderful cheese, however, unless one really likes blue cheese the milder varieties are the ticket. Personally, I love it when a cheese board is served and I can get the true flavor of the cheese without any adornment.

It was ok. I made it for a small gathering where one of the guests really enjoyed it (she also really loves blue cheese). If you don't love blue cheese, then the flavor of this dip might be too strong for you. I'd rather have this dip with salad or wings, but not with fruit.
