Ingredients

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons chilled stick margarine, cut into small pieces
1 carton (8 ounce) lemon low-fat yogurt
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons grated orange rind
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup unsweetened orange juice
1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Grease baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

  3. Combine the first 5 ingredients in bowl; cut margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

  4. Add yogurt, orange rind, and orange juice to first 5 ingredients, stirring just until moistened. (Dough will be sticky).

  5. With floured hands, pat dough into a 9 inch circle on baking sheet.

  6. Cut into 10 wedges, cutting into but not through dough.

  7. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar.

  8. Bake for 16 minutes or until golden.
