Ingredients

400g dark chocolate
250g marshmallows
160g unsalted roasted peanuts
100g cherries

Directions

  1. Line the sides and bottom of an 18 x 28 cm (7 x 11 inch) rectangular tin with baking paper or foil.

  2. Take a medium bowl that is heatproof and place the dark chocolate in it.

  3. Stand the bowl over a small pan of simmering water and stir until the chocolate has completely melted and is smooth. Remove the pan from the heat but leave the bowl over the pan to keep chocolate soft.

  4. Roughly spread probably one - quarter of the melted chocolate in the tin with baking paper or foil.

  5. Place marshmallows, peanuts and cherries randomly over the chocolate and press lightly to stick .

  6. Pour the remaining chocolate evenly over the other ingredients in the tin.

  7. Tap the tin on the bench to ensure the chocolate is evenly distributed between the gaps.

  8. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until completely set.

  9. Carefully lift out of the tin. Remove foil or paper and cut up the chocolate marshmallow bites.

  10. Refrigerate for up to five days!
