Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 eggs, separated
2 cups milk
1/2 cup raisins
2 teaspoons lemon juice
9 inch baked pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Stir together 1/2 cup sugar and whisk in egg yolks and milk stirring constantly to boiling and boil for 1 minute or longer or until thick.
Add raisins and lemon juice.
Pour into 9 inch baked pie crust.
Beat egg whites until foamy and gradually add 1/4 cup sugar and beat until stiff and glossy.
Spread on pie and bake 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
