Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 pound butter
6 ounces Chinese noodles
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease a loaf pan.
Cream butter, add sugar to butter and beat until very creamy.
Add egg yolks - one at a time.
Add flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla.
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
Blend egg whites into batter.
Pour batter into the loaf pan
Bake for one hour.

I wanted to make this pound cake but it says to add 6oz of chinese noodles in the ingredient section and in the directions section in step 4 it says to add egg yolks one at a time and in step 6 it says to beat egg whites until stiff and 7 to blend into batter.So I am a little confused. Thanks
