Marshmallows will be too hard and overall flavors won't blend as well if not prepared the evening before.

1 large can mandarin orange slices
2 large cans chunk pineapple
1 large bundle of seedless green grapes, halved
1 large jar maraschino cherries, halved
1 cup shredded coconut
2/3 of a bag of mini marshmallows
3 cups Cool Whip topping, thawed
2 cups sour cream
Pour canned fruits into colander to drain.
Cut and add grapes and cherries (not the juice).
Reserve some of the cut cherry pieces for garnish.
While fruits are draining, in a separate large bowl, combine Cool Whip and sour cream, mix well.
Combine fruits, coconut, marshmallows and Cool Whip/sour cream mixture in a large mixing bowl, toss gently.
Transfer mixture into a large, decorative serving bowl.
Decorate Ambrosia with reserved cherry halves. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Serve the next day.
