They are not spread on pan instead they are dropped by tablespoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes for a chewy cookie or 9 to 10 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 4 dozen. Also, I've increased the flour to 1-1/2 cups because they were a bit too thin for my liking.
