Ingredients

8 ounces semi sweet chocolate chopped
1/2 cup blanched peanuts (salted or unsalted)
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1/4 cup flaked coconut
8 unwrapped caramel squares, cut into 4 pieces each

Directions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.

  2. Partially melt chocolate over hot water until two-thirds melted.

  3. Remove from heat and continue stirring until melted and smooth.

  4. Stir remaining ingredients into melted chocolate.

  5. Pour chocolate mixture into prepared cookie sheet.

  6. Gently tap cookie sheet on counter to smooth surface.

  7. Refrigerate until firm, about one hour.

  8. Break into pieces.

  9. To store, place in container and store in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.


Variation #1 Cookie Bark

  1. Stir 8 crumbled sandwich-style cookies into melted chocolate.


Variation #2 Marbled Bark

  1. Substitute half the dark chocolate with white chocolate.
