My husband Loves peanut butter so I came up with this delicious recipe. I had made peanut butter squares with this recipe and they were gone. You can also make ice cream with the filling so good!

Ingredients
Crust:
15 whole Nutter Butter peanut butter cookies
2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
Filling:
1 cup smooth peanut butter
7 ounces softened cream cheese
1 1/2 cups confectionery sugar
3 tablespoons 1% milk
2 cups cool whip, reserve 1 cup
Directions
For the crust add the cookies to a food processor or blender these cookies need to be fine crumbs. You can save 1/4 cup of cookie crumbs to sprinkle over the top when your done.
Transfer the cookie crumbs to a bowl add the butter and mix until all the crumbs are coated with the butter. Take a pie dish and pat the crumbs on the bottom and up the sides. Put in the refrigerator until you get the filling done.
For the filling in a mixing bowl add the peanut butter, cream cheese, confectionery sugar and mix on low adding the milk 1 tablespoon at a time. Then whip on high for a few seconds.
Add the 1 cup of cool whip and mix until combined. Fill the crust with the filling level out. Spread the last cup of cool whip over the top and level out. Sprinkle with the reserved cookie crumbs if you wish. Put into the refrigerator for 1 hour to set up.
You can make this or if you wish to make the bars 2 days ahead. Keep refrigerated.
