Ingredients
200 grams flour
75grams margarine
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
75grams castor sugar
1 egg
50 grams coconut
3-4 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons jam
2-3 tablespoons coconut
Directions
Preheat oven to 215 C or gas mark 6.
Grease 2 party tins.
Sieve flour, salt, and baking powder into a bowl.
Rub in margarine. Stir in sugar and coconut and mix well.
Beat egg in a bowl, add a little milk and pour into the centre of mixture, adding enough milk to make a fairly stiff dough.
Using two forks pile tins.
Bake for about 20 minutes.
Place the jam and coconut on two plates, insert the top of the cooked buns into the jam and then cover jam with coconut.
ENJOY EATING THEM.
