I love maple syrup—the taste (of course!) and the scent. This candle caught my eye when I saw that it smells like maple syrup. These candles are hand made in small batches using soy wax. Did you know that soy wax burns cleaner, longer, and brighter than paraffin candles? Plus, when you’re done burning the candle, you can reuse the container (simply wash it with soap and water).
The closer Christmas gets, the more I look forward to partaking in my family’s yearly traditions. One of them is sipping hot cocoa and nibbling on panettone on Christmas Eve. I’m convinced that cocoa (or tea) tastes better in a pretty mug. 😉 This ceramic mug is hand painted in a lovely navy blue. The variations in the paint makes it look bright blue in some areas and brown near the edges. I especially like the contrast of the stark white snowflakes against the dark blue background.
I am particularly fond of mistletoe—it seems to convey the feeling of warmth and love. This mistletoe is hand-beaded from glass beads and finished with a golden yellow bow. Hang it wherever you like, but I bet the beads will glisten beautifully when placed near a light source.
This little reindeer ornament is so sweet. The antlers are hand-beaded and add just the right amount of sparkle. He’s got some “ornaments” dangling from his antlers, too. I love it!
Need an accessory for an upcoming Christmas party? This poinsettia hair pin would be an elegant addition to your holiday garb. It is available in either red or white and would also be a great as a gift!
