Can you believe there are only 7 days left until Christmas? As expected, we elves are super busy, but we couldn’t be more excited!
To enjoy this last week before Christmas, we invited our friends on Google+ to the Northpole.com Official Countdown to Christmas 2012. If you’re on Google+, we hope you’ll join us! (If you’re not on Google+ yet, you can sign up here.)
We want everyone to join in and share the excitement as we count down to Christmas together. Santa asked us to create this Event on Google+ to bring everyone’s amazing Christmas memories together in one spot. Whether you’re at the North Pole or the South Pole—or anywhere in between—you can join this Event and share your special Christmas memories with the world.
While we love all of the posts on the Event page, we will be selecting some of our favorite photos each day between now and Christmas, and we will be posting them here on the Elf Blog. So, without further ado, here are a few of our favorites from today!
Whitney D. said, “My friend’s tree theme: ‘Santa!’ Can you tell?”
Jimmy C. said, “I baked these yummy buns from Mrs. Claus’ Cookbook!”
Jennifer D. posted this photo with a “reindog.” Too cute!
Up here at the North Pole, we have a penchant for all things sparkly, so I immediately fell for this wee tribe of glittery reindeer. And if their thick coats of red glitter weren’t enough, check out their shiny silver hooves—love ’em!
These beautiful hardwood snowflake ornaments would make a lovely personalized gift or keepsake for your own family. Commemorate your first Christmas as husband & wife, baby’s first Christmas, or other special occasion. The ornaments come in your choice of maple [light blonde] or walnut [dark brown] sustainably harvested hardwoods.
This awesome tree slice centerpiece could be used in so many different ways to add a gorgeous, natural touch to your Christmas decor. You could pair it with a rustic floral centerpiece, display it with reindeer figurines, use it to present a platter full of yummy cookies—the possibilities are endless!
Besides basset hounds, I also really love hippos, so my heart melted a little bit when I came across this wee clay hippo. Those eyes, the hippo ears, the itty-bitty holly behind her ear—so precious I almost can’t stand it!
