Ingredients
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
2 cups granulated sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
1 cup walnuts or pecans nuts, chopped
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
Combine dry ingredients, beating well.
Stir in apples and nuts; spoon batter in 10 inch tube or Bundt pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Mix together confectioners sugar, vanilla, butter, and milk.
Glaze should not be thick, add more milk if you need to.
Pour glaze over hot cake, let set overnight before eating.
