Tiny Bottles of Magical Snow from the North Pole
At your next holiday party, give your guests these magical favors as tiny tokens of your appreciation. Who wouldn’t be happy to receive such a wee, cute vial of snow?! Not only are these great favors for a winter wonderland or Frozen themed party, but they’re also perfect little gifts to give your coworkers or classmates. And, if you needed another reason to love these snow-filled bottles, they are ridiculously inexpensive—we made 24 bottles of snow for just $10!
Supplies & Tools:
- Tiny (1 ½" tall) glass bottles with cork stoppers
- White Wilton® nonpareils*
- Small funnel
- Toothpick
- Red baker’s twine
- Scissors
*One 3-ounce bottle of nonpareils is enough “snow” for 24 bottles.
Directions:
- Using the funnel, pour nonpareils into each bottle, filling about 2/3 full. (You want to leave space so the recipient can shake their snow!)
If nonpareils get stuck in the funnel, poke the toothpick in and out of the funnel until the sprinkles flow into the bottle. - Place a cork stopper in each bottle.
- Wrap a piece of baker’s twine around the neck of each bottle and tie a knot or a bow. For more color, wrap the twine around the neck 2–3 times before tying it off.
- Voilà! Now your bottles of snow are ready for your party!
Ideas from the Elves:
- Use Wilton® White Sparkling Sugar or Wilton® Gold Stars Edible Accents to bottle up some “ice crystals” and “falling stars.”
